2025 Garner Juneteenth Celebration
What a spectacular Juneteenth Celebration we had! We just about filled up Garner Performing Arts Center for an inspiring and educational event that featured music from Juniper Level Missionary Baptist, New Bethel Christian Church Men's and the Garner Juneteenth Community choirs, dance by TheGifted Arts and a look at Garner’s history through original documentary-style video. Our guide for our historical journey this morning was the amazing Mary D. Williams. Congresswoman Deborah Ross and Mayor Buddy Gupton offered some fine remarks, too.
